Dentists’ Quality Register
(Kwaliteitsregister Tandartsen, KRT)

People are naturally choosy when it comes to their teeth. They want to be sure that their dentist is an expert. But who should they choose? How do they know for sure that a dentist meets the desired quality standards? In order to clarify the matter for them, in 2007 the Dentists’ Quality Register (Kwaliteitsregister Tandartsen, KRT) was created. The KRT is the independent public quality register for all practising dentists in the Netherlands. This quality mark demonstrates that you stand for optimum dental care in practice.

Joining the Register
A dentist entered in the KRT is a dentist who stands for quality; who has his/her practice in order; who keeps up with developments in his/her field; who is open to the opinions, wishes and needs of the patient; and who communicates adequately in the Dutch language.
